Electrical Product Supply
HT Cables
High-tension (HT) cables for higher-voltage power distribution, supplied to the required specification.
Overview
About HT Cables
High-tension cables carry power at distribution voltages, typically 11 kV and 33 kV, between transformers, switchgear and substations. At these voltages the insulation system is critical: XLPE insulation with shielding controls the electric field inside the cable, and the terminations and joints at each end are as important as the cable itself.
Prime Volt Systems supplies HT cables with copper and aluminium conductors and XLPE insulation in the 11 kV and 33 kV classes, and carries out HT cable works, terminations and commissioning support through its HT services. The size range is confirmed for each project.
